Basic Filmmaking video production on-line course
We have the resources to perform the following:
Video Compression
- Compress analog video (NTSC or PAL/SECAM VHS tape, laserdiscs) to QuickTime movies, mpeg4 and mpeg2 video, and DVD.
Audio Compression
- Compress analog audio (cassettes and LP) to mp3, mp4 (AAC) files
Digital Conversion
- Convert DVD video to QuickTime and mpeg4 movies
- Convert audio CDs to mp3 and mp4 files
- Convert and edit miniDV tapes to finished programs
Format Conversion
- Convert PAL or SECAM formats to NTSC, and vice-versa.
Delivery
- Upload digital files to our servers, for streaming to clients
- Convert any of the above media to be played from DVD-video
- Copy digital files to CDs for local computer playback.

In many cases, we use cross-platform PC/Mac QuickTime technologies for production and delivery.
Technical limitations of each format will dictate what is possible
